Hi everybody,
This is just a pencil sketch. I don't know if it will be used later or not. Summer is the busiest time of the year for me, so I really have no plan for any drawing. Well, just did this for fun :)

VNAF A1 Skyraiders and Vietnamese Girls

Finally!!!
Well, welcome back everybody! I haven't posted anything new for a while, it feels so good to do this simple task once again!
It's something new. I sketched the idea based on my old Skyraider diecast model and a photograph of two Vietnamese girls on their Honda stopping at a traffic light (they were wearing blouses and skirts though!). The rest, I would blame it on checking out many Romain Hugault's pin ups lately. I wish I could draw planes as well as CoVu or some other Belgian and French comic artists. I admire these gentlemen for their talents. I like to draw people, so I always tried to add things into my plane drawings as a way to express myself better. I also enjoyed this style more. I used to draw cartoons and caricatures for some small news papers and magazins, but that's about it. Well...to be honest, I have never been to any arts school or taken any arts classes. I am a simple working man who just found a hobby and decided to stick to it :)
If you enjoy my art, it is already a great pleasure for me.
As a Vietnamese, I hope to see a comic strip/book about the VNAF done by Mr. CoVu someday. He will have a lot of fans...I will be one among them!

VNAF Captain Tran The Vinh

Here is what I had in mind since before I drew Captain Tran The Vinh's portrait. Last night, I sketched the Skyraider. This afternoon, I colored it and added a background to the drawing. I just noticed that I miss several details on the A-1...Well, I am still learning. Hope you all enjoy my artwork...I really enjoyed drawing it!

VNAF Captain Tran The Vinh ( Anh hùng KQVNCH - Cố Đại Úy Trần Thế Vinh )

Hi everybody,

It's been a while since my last post. I have been so, so busy this year ... well, it's a long story... Anyway, I found a little time to do one VNAF drawing before the end of the year. I read the story of Captain Tran The Vinh online and was inspired to do a sketch of his portrait and color it digitally. I did not have a good reference, just a very small image on the internet so ... I hope that I did o.k.  Well, I really wanted to add a Skyraider  in the background but I was with a cold and just got so tired! Maybe I will do that later when I feel better. For now, Happy Holidays to all of you and I wish you all a happy and prosperous Year of The Horse 2014. Well, just like what people say " Mã đáo thành công!" ( Horses bring Victory!)

VNAF F-5As DROPPING BOMBS (KQVN F-5A không kích)

This is my latest drawing which shows 2 of the VNAF F-5A Freedom Fighters dropping bombs on enemy position during the Vietnam War. I hope you will like it.
