Happy Birthday, Allie!
Last Saturday, December 27, Andrea and Pepe held a big party at their home in Corona to celebrate the Birthdays of both Patty and Allie at the same time. I felt like drawing something for Allie in water color for the occasion. This is based on a photograph taken in May of last year. It's an old picture but something about it had captured my mind and given me inspiration for a drawing.
Aren't Allie and Andrea look so cute in this picture? This is the first time I used water color for a portrait. I am still learning how to control the running color, the warping paper. I made mistakes here and there but overall, I think I have beginner's luck with this drawing. I hope Andrea and Allie enjoy my art-work. Happy birthday, Allie!

Dance with me!
It has been a while since our last Allie Cats strip. I always think that it would be fun drawing Allie in her tutu dancing ballet in front of her biggest fans: Pancha and Cucha. So here it is! There's no gag, just Allie tries to look cute for all those who love her.
Hope you like my humble artwork.
Until my next post!

Clive Owen again?
What a crazy Summer! The school has started a week now and I am still very busy. Most of the projects have been wrapped up but some are still giving me headache everyday. I do not have any idea for a new Allie Cats strip yet. In the mean time, to make sure that I have a good use for my new digital drawing tablet, I put it to work as much as I can to gain experience for later. A portrait of someone is a fairly easy thing to work on. You only have to copy the likeliness of the person appearance. I do not have to think and it means saving time! And why do I like to draw guys? It is because Patty loves these guys - these British movie stars- Hmmm... I'd love to draw girls, too. May be next time I will draw somebody that Patty hates... like Angelina Jollie... Oh, yeah. That will be cool!!!
Anyway, I hope you all like the picture.
Until our next post!

jorge
Patty, this is supposed to be a surprise for you. However, you should write anything you like about Jorge and the Peruvian Air Force underneath. I'd like to read some Spanish so please do!
Love to all,

Are we going to the beach?
Well, looking at this new strip, I've suddenly found out what I want my life to be. I wish all the children a lot of fun. I wish all the people my age a lot of rest. And I wish all the older people a peaceful and beautiful sunset at the beach! Also, I wish the cycle continues forever and ever...
Thanks for reading our blog.
Love to all!

Happy Mothers' Day Card
This is a card that I have made for Mothers' Day 2008. It was meant to be not only a bouquet of flowers but also a trophy to all mothers. In my opinion, being a mother, by itself, is the greatest present to all women which no roses can compare. It's a right. It's flesh and blood, heart and soul... It is the air that they breathe... a vow of absolute love, forgiveness... and the permanent surrender to their tiny hopes and dreams... their forever beloved children!
The drawing is posted late. The message it carries, hopefully, will never be...!

¡Abuela tiene razon!
..........Surrrrrrrrrprise!!!!! Another comic strip came out (snap fingers) just like that! Well, before we knew it , you've got some thing fresh to read on our blog.
You can say that we got lucky but this here story was inspired by real situations.... For many times, I have caught Allie trying on all of Patty's shoes, one pair after another, walking proudly and happyly around the house in front of the amazed Pancha and Cucha. I figure it's just a way for her to tell Patty - Abuela...I am a big girl now!!!
Some other times, I saw Cucha exploring Patty's leather boots and that was...hmm...something!
Believe me! Living with these real characters is quite an experience. It would be easier for you just to sit back, relax and "watch" it through ..........The Allie Cats Comic Strip!!!!!
