USN "Mig Killer" A-1H Skyraider from USS Intrepid, Vietnam 1966

Hello everybody,

This is another version of the A-1 that I drew earlier. I changed it a little bit and turned it into a USN Skyraider on the USS Intrepid that happened to down a North Vietnamese Mig-17 in 1966.

Hi everybody,

I am back again with another VNAF cartoon.  I have tried several caricatures of this "old faithful" plane but not really been satisfied. Finally, I decided to keep its huge fuselage and its giant wings and tail because these are the plane's main characteristics...Well, I am happy with the way it turned out...Love the shape of the Skyraider!

I have to say that VNAF cartooning is new to me but I found it so interesting and addictive! It is stressful for me to copy air plane shapes the way they are. Here you can breathe life into your war birds and bring out their characters just like doing caricatures of people.

Happy New Year 2016 from the VNAF !!!

Hi everybody,

Today is December 23rd on the Lunar Calendar.  For us Vietnamese, today is the day we see the Kitchen God off for his trip to the Jade Emperor of the sky. He will read in front of the emperor the whole report about everything that happened on Earth in 2015.  I saw this as an opportunity for me to learn how to draw an VNAF cartoon.

This is my first attempt to draw a plane this way...And it was a lot of fun :)

VNAF - WAR and PEACE...

Hi everybody,

2015 was such a busy year for me!  Well, at least it was a year filled with meaningful events! 

So...lets start 2016 with a peaceful scene of the beach, lets say...during the Vietnam War.  It is just a piece of my imagination and I wouldn't go to the details and ...just have some fun :)
